Navratri X Dussehra (and Gandhi Jayanti!)

Info: Do you enjoy this Indian festival? I do!
Fun Fact: Did you know there are two Navratris in a year? Choti and Badi Navratri!

🌼 Pre-Navratri
Before Navratri began, I visited my grandmother’s house. I played with my little sister and even got a pair of shiny dandiyas. I couldn’t wait to use them!

✨ My 9 Days of Navratri - Colour Journey! ✨

Day 1 - White: 🀍✨ I wore white as that was the colour of the day.
Day 2 - Red: πŸ”΄πŸ”₯ I wore bright red.
Day 3 - Royal Blue: πŸ’™πŸ‘‘ I wore royal blue.
Day 4 - Yellow: πŸ’›πŸŒΌ I wore yellow (it matched my school uniform!).
Day 5 - Green: πŸ’šπŸŒΏ I wore green.
Day 6 - Grey: 🩢🌫️ I wore grey.
Day 7 - Orange: 🧑🌟 I wore orange.
Day 8 - Peacock Green: πŸ¦šπŸ’š I didn’t have peacock green, so I wore the closest colour I had.
Day 9 - Pink: πŸ’—πŸŒΈ I wore pink.

Then came a Break Day! πŸ˜„

πŸŽ‰ Dussehra + Gandhi Jayanti

I had a birthday party to attend that day. It was so awesome! I even won a game with lots of people in it and got a prize!

πŸ’ƒ Sharad Purnima (Early Celebration!)

I hadn’t played garba or dandiya during all of Navratri or Dussehra. But on Sharad Purnima, when I went to my grandma’s house again, I finally got to dance!
It was amazing and totally worth the wait! πŸ’ƒ✨

Until the next celebration - keep dancing, keep smiling, and keep shining! ✨πŸ’ƒπŸ˜Š
