Mussoorie Trip - Part 2

Hello again.. to read this part of my blog, you need to read mybprevious one, if you haven't, click here.

Day 3 (Visiting Landour)-

We woke up, brushed, bathed, and went for breakfast, where my cousin brother cut another cake named “Virat”. From there, we left for Landour. I wasn’t feeling very well.
We drove there, took a stop, walked a bit, and saw the lovely view! My brother and I even played a pop-the-balloon game. It wasn’t as easy as it seemed—my brother burst 1 balloon and I burst 5 😎.

Then we took another stop to eat some Maggie πŸ˜‹—one of the reasons we came there. After that, we walked for around 30–60 minutes! When we finally reached, there was a super long line with over a hundred people! My mom gasped. “It should take about an hour for our turn!” my dad said. We only took 3 hot chocolates because the price was ₹1000 for 3! To make it worth it, we also bought a few sweets. Then we headed back to our hotel. After reaching, we freshened up in our rooms. I told my parents to leave for high tea, but we left a bit late and missed it. Luckily, there were still some biscuits and tea left.

Later, my parents, my aunt, and I played upside-down giant Snakes and Ladders, and then the normal one. After that, my aunt and I played some basketball. My cousin’s parents, my parents, and I went to the game room.
First, my aunt, my parents, and I played doubles TT (table tennis), and then only my aunt and I played. After that, we left for dinner.

After dinner, my cousin and I played giant chess. Then, I really wanted to play Mafia (game) as we always do when we come on vacation together. I thought we were finally going to play it since we hadn’t played it the whole trip—but instead, the adults played poker, while my brother and I sat separately. My father asked me if I wanted to see them and learn, but it seemed too boring πŸ˜‘ My brother played a mobile game, while I did some mandala, played on my phone, and used my controller gamepad for 2–5 minutes. Later, both of us played 2-player games on the phone. We went back to our rooms at around 1am!!

Day 4 (Going Home)-

We woke up, brushed, bathed, and went for breakfast. It was our last meal in this hotel!
Since we were checking out soon, I went outside, hoping the hula hoops would be there because they aren’t always kept outside—and this was my last chance to do them. Sadly, they weren’t there.

Since I really wanted to play, I went to the basketball court, but there were already three kids with their parents, and there were only two basketballs, both occupied. A few seconds later, my brother came to the court. One child dropped his ball, and my brother took it. Then the other two kids left, so I took the second ball. We played for some time.
After that, I thought we should go to the garden, as we hadn’t gone there the whole trip. I even met a little first grader there. My father sat on a bench. My aunt and I were a team, and my brother and uncle were a team. We played golf, but just when we started, my aunt left. Then my cousin and I played, and my uncle played a few turns for me. Later, my uncle left too, and my brother and I continued playing.

Then we went back to our rooms. My brother bathed, and I packed my bag. After that, we went to the terrace one last time. We took a few pictures and then checked out.

From there, we headed to Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun. While travelling, my brother came with us in our car because our flights were different and we wouldn’t get much time together. His first stop was Delhi, and ours was Lucknow. He had tears in his eyes, so his parents let him come with me and my dad.
He slept on my lap while we were travelling. Even my dad slept at that time. At the 2-minute break, my brother changed to my aunts’ and uncles’ car. Then, at the 5-minute break, he came out laughing, and from there he went with his parents.

When we reached the airport, we found out that their flight was delayed and was just 10 minutes before ours. I even saw a pigeon waddling around.
We checked in, and since we had skipped lunch and it was already 5 p.m., my uncle ordered food for us. We took small nibbles and passed the food. There was paneer kathi roll (which started from us ☝️), veg kathi roll πŸ₯¦, cup noodles (my favourite πŸ˜‹), and more. Then my cousin and his family left. After that, we left too. I even saw my cousin brother’s flight take off! In our flight, I could see a beautiful sunset 😍 Wanna see?

Later, our flight landed at Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport, Lucknow at 6:15 p.m. From there, we checked in for our other flight and went to the lounge, where we had dinner. Then we did a little shopping and boarded our flight at 9 p.m. It took off at around 9:30–9:45 p.m.

My parents (mostly my dad) took turns playing on my controller gamepad and then slept, while I updated my blog. When I was a toddler, while returning from a night flight from Singapore, I could see a part of the Earth (that’s what I used to say), and the same thing happened again this time.
Since I love cup noodles so much—and I only get to eat them when we travel by flight—my parents bought me my own cup on the plane… or at least that’s what I thought until it ran out 😒. But after a while, the flight attendant gave me another one along with some juice 😊.

On the flight, I thought about how I would sleep late for three nights—I slept late the previous day, would sleep late that day, and would sleep late the next day too, because it would be 31st December!

We landed at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Airport, Mumbai (T1) at 12:00 a.m. The trip was super good, but there’s nothing like being back home. That’s the end of my trip and post. Hope you enjoyed it! More coming soon!
